This product is seriously a joke. It is supposed to help people grow their bald spots, and being an African American teenager I have worn micro's, kinky twist, weaves, and even have had perms in the past which all contributed to my damaged edges. Now being natural I am looking products that can help grow out my hair naturally. I am trying to stay away from pills and other substances because my body is very sensitive and I break out a lot. I have tried a number amount of products but this is my first review on one because I am completely dissatisfied.
First, The sulfur in the product does not even blend well with the chemicals or "oils" that is in this product. The bottle instructs you to shake it well. I shake this product for 40 seconds before applying it to my edges. I still felt like hard beads for some reason. Maybe the product has to be kept in a specific temperature but that should have been stated. Anyway I have done this for 3 months and still no results. I have had better results with Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil. This product consistency is very runny, the smell is strong but I have grown to like it because it reminds me of a natural smell.
My mother also used this product but gave up after month 2. You can say she has been using this product for a month and a half actually for a bad spot in the middle of her hair. She gave this product to an aunt of mine who has been having trouble with breakage I told my aunt to use it for a month before doing a review and here it is. From three African American women this product does not work from us and I am in shock. I tried so very hard to love this product because of all the positive reviews but with no results and no one to really prove me wrong with pictures I am led to believe that the reviews on the website are fake. Do not waste your money with this product it is $10 dollars and it will last for quite a while but it is not worth it. Do not believe the hype. I am also doing this review because the site did not post my review so I thought that well maybe they didn't post the reviews of other people who did not like their product. I hope someone else has better results than me and my family but it was not for us. And we do not recommend it.
